Half Pint O'Rage

Half Pint O'Rage, #13½ 1981-2012

Amiee "Half Pint O'Rage" Bernard joined New Hampshire Roller Derby in July of 2010, not long after she went into remission from Leukemia. She entered the "freshmeat" training program until she fell ill once again later that year.

During her time with NHRD she volunteered and trained hard to one day get on a team. She was a small lady but was tough-as-nails and her determination and drive to succeed was inspiring to all the other freshmeat - and veterans, too.

At the end of the 2010 season Rage was honored with the "Rosie the Riveter" Award which is given to an empowering woman who exemplifies what women's roller derby was founded on - femininity, strength, courage, sportsmanship and friendship. Each season a roller girl will be honored with this award in her memory.

Rage lost her battle with leukemia on August 8, 2012. Help NHRD knock out this horrible disease for good. Click below to learn more about this disease and register in the Be the Match® National Bone Marrow Registry.
